On 29 March 2022, the FEAM European Biomedical Policy Forum, with the support of the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE) and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), organised an online event on ‘Pharmaceuticals in the Environment’.
From the event resulted a discussion with expert policy makers, academics, industry and civil society representatives that provided the opportunity to exchange views, emphasise and raise awareness on this emerging concern, whilst delivering practical recommendations on how to better manage and reduce the waste of drugs in the environment.
