The Coalition calls for the EU Data Protection Regulation to recognise the essential role of personal data in healthcare. It is made up of several organisations including the Council of European Dentists (CED), the European Hospital and Healthcare Federation (HOPE), the Federation of European Academies of Medicine (FEAM), COCIR (representing the Radiological, Electromedical and Healthcare IT industry in Europe), the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), Continua Health Alliance, GSMA (representing mobile operators worldwide) and the Standing Committee of European Doctors (CPME).
