The seventh episode of the PERISCOPE Project Monthly Talks is dedicated to health inequalities with regard to the COVID-19 pandemic. Professor Giuseppe Costa, Professor of Public Health (Department of Clinical and Biological Sciences, University of Turin, Italy), was the guest chosen to address this topic.
He is a leading expert on health inequalities, overseeing FEAM contributions to the PERISCOPE’s joint report on the impacts of COVID-19 on health inequalities with emphasis on vulnerable groups. On September 29, at the workshop on the impacts of COVID-19 on health inequalities in Europe, he gave a keynote speech, speaking on “Assessing the impacts and learning from the pandemic in terms of health inequalities”.
